Preschool Teachers

  • Every moment is teachable. From praises to meltdowns, love is shown along with positive guidance and clear expectations. Kids are taught tools to help handle situations. The Creative Curriculum lessons meet Nevada Pre-K standards. Classroom Teams work together on interest areas: literacy/writing, science/discovery, math, blocks, sensory, and dramatic play centers for a developmentally appropriate learning environment.

  • Must be teachable and work well with other staff members; Must be willing to laugh at themselves in moments of chaos; Most importantly, must enjoy working with children and teaching the love of Jesus

  • Flexible. 2-40 hours.

  • Hours of operation are 6:30am-6pm Monday-Friday. Full-time (>30 hrs) and part-time (<30) positions are available.

Anchor Point

    We seek motivated team members who are a good culture fit and want to join a positive and fun team. The kids in our care are grades Kinder through 5th and deserve the best from us. We love our staff members and celebrate them regularly with donuts, special treats, and more!

    This position is full-time (guaranteed 30 hours a week, potential for more) and includes PTO, holiday pay, benefits, and discounted onsite child care (ages 3+ as space is available). It is a split shift schedule.

    As the Assistant Coordinator, your duties will be to:

    • Assist the AP Coordinator with various duties
    • Greet parents during check in/out at the front desk
    • Open/close the program as needed
    • Expectations include transporting kids to and from school during the school year
    • Transportation for and monitoring field trips during school breaks and summer, facilitating activities, etc.
    • Actively engage and play with kids
    • Lead group games / crafts
    • Help with homework

    The “Anchor Point” is defined as “a point where the rope is fixed to the rock” and “a fail safe attachment point for protection” in mountain climbing terms. Here at Summit, we want our program to be a place where children become fixed to the “rock”, Christ Jesus, and encouraged to establish a fail-safe attached relationship to him.

    Anchor Point transports to seven elementary schools: Alyce Taylor, Bohach, Jesse Hall, Pinecrest, Spanish Springs, Sepulveda, and VanGorder. Our program is open from 6:30am and closes at 6pm daily.

  • Transport kids to one of seven schools and pick them up after school. Schedule can be am or pm or both. Must be 21; clean driving record.

  • Care for kids before and after school, which means shifts are split. Schedules include am or pm or both.

We are looking for a caring and energetic individuals to transport, chat, play games & crafts, and help elementary kids with homework.
